Ouse Bridge

The current (Grade II listed) Ouse Bridge is the third on this site in the heart of the City of York. It was constructed in two stages between 1810 and 1820.

Like many bridges during the medieval period, the earlier versions of the Ouse Bridge were lined with buildings. However, the current bridge is a much simpler structure.
