The following functionality has been permanently removed from this website:

  • The site-wide Image Gallery:
    It is no longer possible to view the photographic images separately from the pages that they were uploaded to illustrate. This functionality has been removed because it was rarely used by site visitors, yet it significantly increased the complexity of the site and the time & effort required to manage and maintain the site. If you are seeking images of a specific location, the gazetteer, site index and search features may help you to find what you are looking for.
