If you're walking along the northern section of York's City Walls, look-out for this marker carved / set into a paving slab. It marks the approximate position of the 'Porta Decumana' (the northeast gateway of the Roman fortress).

The marker is visible in this photograph (bottom-right), which shows the Wall Walk, adjacent to the rear garden of Gray's Court.
